What up!

Ready for an absolutely legendary night of chess, questionable decisions, and snacks that may or may not be a distraction? We're talking checkmates, gambits, and a whole lot of blunders (because let's be honest, we're no Grandmasters). It's going to be our most chaotic evening yet, and you really don't want to be the one hearing about it the next day.

I mean, you could, but FOMO is real.

Event Deets

? When: Tuesday October 22nd at 6:30 PM until you've made enough bad moves and leave in shame (or 10:30 PM, whichever comes first)

? Where: Tribe Social Club (150m from Chiado Metro Stop – that's walking distance for even the laziest of us)

? Who: Open to 12 players, whether you can name 3 opening moves or just show up for the snacks

⏰ Duration: 4 hours of intense fun (and by intense, we mean you might need a drink after the 3rd checkmate in a row)

Why You'll Love This Place

Prime Location: Smack in the city center, because we know you don't like walking more than you have to.

Smoke-Free: Chess is hard enough without having to breathe in second-hand smoke while losing to a 12-year-old prodigy.

Great Lighting: Your eyesight isn't what it used to be, but hey, now you can actually see the board.

Comfy & Stylish: Stylish chairs to ease the pain of your crushed ego when you realize your ‘brilliant' move was not-so-brilliant.

Top-Notch Drinks: You're going to need them. Craft beer, cocktails – whatever helps you forget that rook you just sacrificed.

Delicious Food: Because nothing says "I'm going to win this game" like a mouthful of fries.

Inclusive Atmosphere: Whether you're here for the chess, the food, or just to judge us all silently, we're cool with it. (But seriously, don't be that guy.)

Come Prepared

Bring your chessboard (if you have one), bring your sarcasm, and bring your A-game. Or don't, and just enjoy the chaos. Either way, we'll be here, probably blundering our way through another match.

See you there... or don't. But you know you want to♟️?
