01 · Why

Why it matters

No one is turned away twice

A full event still takes names. Spots free up when others cancel, and the list fills them.

You see who is waiting

The list sits with the event: who is waiting, how many tickets they want and what has been offered or booked.

Fair and quick

The next person in line gets the spot held for an hour. If they miss it, it moves on.

02 · How it works

Three steps to a full house.

Tap a step. The guest’s phone and your list show what changes.

Step 1 · The event sells out
03 · Try it

Run the queue.

Pick how many spots open up, then pretend they cancel. See who gets an offer, and what happens when someone misses theirs.

Good questions

How do guests join the waitlist?

On a sold-out event the button changes to “Join waiting list”. Guests sign in, pick a ticket (or any ticket) and how many they want, up to four, and they are in the queue.

What happens when a spot opens?

The next person in line whose tickets fit is messaged by email and WhatsApp (if they use it) and the spot is held for them for one hour, with a reminder 15 minutes before it ends. If they do not book, it goes to the next person and they go to the back of the line. If a spot does not fit the next person (they want two and one is free), they keep their place and the next person who fits is offered it.

Can I see who is waiting?

Yes. The event has a Waiting list tab with who is waiting, who has an offer and who has booked, and you can remove someone or download the list. You can also switch the waiting list off for an event.

Who can see the list?

Community leads and the event’s lead host. Co-hosts can see it with report access and change it if they are allowed to edit the event.

What does it cost?

€0 a month. Tribe takes 5% + Stripe’s card fee only when a held spot becomes a paid ticket.
