Is Tribe free to use?
Yes. The plan is $0/month with no setup costs. Creating a community, publishing events and running free events is free. Fees only apply when you sell paid events or memberships.
What are the fees on paid events and memberships?
A 5% platform fee plus Stripe costs (typically 3%). By default the fees are added at checkout, so a $10 ticket costs the attendee about $10.80. Free events and donations have no booking fee.
Can I pay the fees instead of my attendees?
Yes. Email support@tribesocial.co and we will set your events up so you cover the fees and attendees pay exactly the ticket price.
How do I get paid?
Connect a Stripe account when you set up payments. Revenue is paid out to your bank account through Stripe. Stripe charges its own card processing costs, typically around 3% depending on the card and country.
