Every pace gets a group
Put the distance, meeting point and route on the event, let runners join a pace group when they book, and keep a club leaderboard of who keeps turning up.
An example of the run card on a runner’s phone: the distance and meeting point, two pace groups to join, and a club leaderboard for the month.
Who it’s for
For clubs where nobody gets left behind
Runners know which group to join before they arrive, leaders know who to wait for, and regulars get credit for turning up.
Social run clubs
Weekly runs with a few paces, a coffee after and a crowd that grows every month.
- Pace groups with a named leader each
- A leaderboard that rewards showing up
Beginner groups
Couch to 5k crews and new runners who want to know the pace before they commit.
- A chatty group, clearly labelled
- See who else is running at your pace

Trail and walking groups
Longer routes away from town, where the meeting point and the route matter most.
- Meeting point and route link on the event
- Groups for faster and slower walkers
How it works
From the start line to the leaderboard
Step 1: Add the run details
Distance, meeting point and a route link, plus your pace groups: a name, a pace and who’s leading.
Step 2: Runners join a pace group
Once they’ve booked, runners join a group from the event page and can switch or leave before the run.
Step 3: Check-ins count as runs
Every event a member checks in to adds a run to the club leaderboard, this month and all time.
What you get
Everything runners ask in the group chat, answered
Where to meet and where you’re going
Distance, meeting point and a link to the route sit on the event page, next to the ticket.
Pace groups with leaders
Name each group, set its pace per km and say who’s leading it.
Who’s running
Booked runners see who’s in their group. Names are only shown to hosts and people booked on the run.
A club leaderboard
Runs per member this month and all time, with your own row even when you’re further down.
Counted at check-in
Runs come from Tribe check-in at the event, so nobody has to log anything.
On your community page
Add the Mini app block to your community page so people who’ve been to your events can see who’s run the most this month.
Fewer messages, more miles
Add run details and pace groups to your next club run.
Tribe is free to run. On paid tickets and memberships we take 5%, plus Stripe's card fee (about 3%). See pricing
