On paid tickets and memberships we take 5%, plus Stripe's card fee (about 3%). Attendees pay it at checkout by default, so you keep 100% of your ticket price. Free events are always free.

Monthly-billing prices from each company's own site, checked 13 October 2026, in US dollars and converted to your currency at approximate rates. Patreon takes 10% of income rather than a monthly fee, so it isn't in the total. Card processing fees apply on every platform and aren't included.

What is Tribe?
The all-in-one platform for communities that meet in real life. Your community gets its own page with tickets, memberships, mini apps and WhatsApp messages in one link, and people near you can find it on Tribe.
Who is Tribe for?
Anyone who brings people together in person: run clubs, supper clubs, padel socials, dance nights, book clubs, hikes and more. And anyone looking for something to do.
How long does it take to set up?
Minutes. Claim your address, add your details, links and first event, and publish. Connecting Stripe takes a few more minutes when you are ready to sell.
Do I need a website or a designer?
No. You claim an address, add your details and pick a colour and a font in the dashboard.
What can I put on my page?
Details, social links, upcoming events, membership plans, a gallery, FAQs, a quote, an image, a video, links, meet the hosts, Instagram, Spotify, a location and mini apps.
Can I change my page address later?
You can ask. Changing the address is a request to the Tribe team, not an instant edit.
What does it cost?
€0 a month. On paid tickets and memberships Tribe takes 5%, plus Stripe’s card fee (typically about 3%). Donations work the same way, and free events are always free.
Who pays the fee?
You choose, in Settings → Payments. By default the fee is added at checkout, so attendees pay it and you keep 100% of your ticket price. Switch to Community pays and the fee comes out of your payout, so attendees pay exactly the ticket price. Supporters who donate pay the service fee on top, so you receive the full amount.
How do I get paid?
Connect a Stripe account when you set up payments. Money from tickets, memberships and donations is paid out to your bank through Stripe, and payouts are listed in your dashboard.
Can guests pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
Yes, where their device supports it. Card fields always show too.
What about refunds?
If you turn refund requests on for an event, guests can request one from their booking and you approve or decline it. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable.
Can I sell more than one kind of ticket?
Yes. Each event can have several ticket types, each with its own name, price, spots and rules, including member prices.
What happens when an event sells out?
It shows Sold out, and “Only N left” appears when fewer than five spots remain. Guests can join the waitlist, and when a spot opens the next person gets a short window to claim it.
Who can see my event?
Public means anyone with the link. Private means it is not listed on tribeirl.com. Members only means only members can see it.
Can I make an event repeat?
Not from the builder yet. Once the event is created, you can ask our team to make it recurring.
How does check-in work?
Scan the QR code on each ticket or search a name. It works with no signal: check-ins wait on the phone and sync when it is back online.
Can I ask guests questions or get waivers signed?
Yes. Waivers are signed before guests pay, and custom questions are answered at booking. Both are switched on community by community, so ask us if you do not see them.
How do memberships work?
Create monthly or yearly plans. Members get the member price you set on any ticket, whichever plan they are on, and can cancel any time from their Profile.
Can I approve members first?
Yes. Turn on approval for a plan. People send a request, then get a pay link by email or WhatsApp once you approve.
How do I message my members?
Send a blast to everyone or to a group, by email, WhatsApp or both, from your dashboard.
Do I need my own WhatsApp Business account?
No. Messages go out through Tribe’s approved message templates. People only get WhatsApp messages if they opted in, and replying STOP opts them out straight away.
Can someone help me run my events?
Yes. Invite co-hosts to an event: they can check guests in, message attendees and see reports, but not edit or cancel unless you allow it. Co-hosts are switched on community by community.
What are mini apps?
Small apps on the event page for people who booked: court spots and a live table for tennis and padel, menus for supper clubs, pace groups and a leaderboard for runs, and polls. They are on a switch while we roll them out.
Do I need to download an app?
No. Pages, events and tickets work in any browser. You get your tickets and confirmations on WhatsApp.
How do I find things to do?
Tell us what gets you out of the house and when you are free when you sign up, and we will match you with communities near you. You can get weekly picks too.
How do I get into an event?
Show the QR code on your ticket at the door. If it will not scan, read out your order code instead.
Can I get a refund?
If the event has refund requests turned on, you can request one from your booking and the community approves or declines it. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, under Profile, My details. Community leads and members with an active paid membership need to sort those out first.
